Volunteer Screening
Volunteer screening is an essential part of running successful Blue Light programs and events. It is a requirement that ALL volunteers are screened in line with Blue Light Victoria’s policies and procedures; this includes having a valid Working With Children’s Check and a National Police Check (renewed every 2 years). It is also important for all volunteers to read the Code of Conduct for Working with Children.

- Police Check Consent Form NEW!
Please note that there is now a new Police Check consent form. The 100 point system is no longer applicable (new requirements listed on form). It is also no longer a requirement to have documents certified as long as they have been sighted and the identification of the person is confirmed. This will now make the process easier.
Blue Light Victoria is an accredited body to undertake National Police Checks, this enables us to provide volunteer police checks for $10 per person (charged to the branch).
Blue Light has a Zero Tolerance to Child Abuse. Volunteer screening is essential to keeping our programs and events safe.
