CoRE (Connected, Resilient, Engaged) is an 8-week program for Years 10–11 that re-engages students with school, peers, and community.

Designed for small groups or whole Pathways/VM classes, CoRE supports 15–17 year-olds facing academic, social, or personal challenges. With guidance from specialist facilitators and role models including police and emergency services, students build confidence, empathy, and the skills to make healthy, positive choices.

Each session focuses on practical relationship building, self-reflection, and respectful dialogue, while the Community Connection Day (uniquely tailored to each school) gives students the chance to put their learning into action—whether volunteering at a local food bank or working alongside emergency services.

The result? More engaged, confident students who feel connected, supported, and ready to contribute to their school and community.
