Blue Light Victoria (BLV) is a leading youth charity committed to investing in the futures of young people. With a focus on early intervention, we engage young people aged 10 – 21 in experiences that build connection, confidence and community. What sets us apart is our unique partnerships with police and emergency services enabling us to create positive experiences and relationships that inspire young people to make great choices for their future.
At Blue Light we actively seek to make a difference, differently.
We design, develop, and deliver programs for young people that foster positive engagement, support wellbeing, and strengthen relationships. We go about achieving this in three ways:
- By providing young people with unique and hands-on learning experiences
- By supporting young people’s social and emotional wellbeing
- Through deliberately engaging students with the broader community including police and emergency services.
We’re committed to inspiring young people from diverse backgrounds, abilities and experiences to make positive long-term behavioural and attitude changes. Our programs are tailored for students across a broad spectrum, including:
- Primary school level programs – designed for students with leadership potential, and those who are keen to meaningfully engage with their community and peers beyond the classroom setting.
- Secondary school level programs – focused on supporting young people experiencing challenges at home and school. This might include disengagement, poor school attendance, risk taking behaviour or social and emotional challenges.

Our Mission
To design, develop and deliver programs, activities, and initiatives for young people between the ages of 10-21 years that:
- Enhance connection and positive engagement with their peers and their community.
- Equip young people with tools to support their mental and physical wellbeing.
- Strengthen relationships between young people and key Blue Light Victoria partners including Victoria Police, emergency services and other key stakeholders.
