Frontline

Safety through Community Connection

Frontline is an interactive, full-day early intervention program that helps young people explore what safety means in their lives, their choices, and their communities. Students are encouraged to understand their role in the community, see themselves as active and valued members, and recognise how their actions contribute to the wellbeing of others.
Run in partnership with police and emergency services, students engage directly with frontline personnel through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios. These positive interactions build trust, strengthen relationships and provide positive exposure to community role models.
Delivered on-site at schools, Frontline brings students together in small groups for a dynamic day of activity, discussion, and reflection. Through a series of engaging stations, students explore personal safety, accessing support, teamwork, and decision-making, while developing a stronger sense of purpose, connection, responsibility, and belonging.

Activity Themes Include:

  • Teamwork, communication and respect
  • Connecting to community
  • Making healthy and safe decisions
  • Accessing supports

The Result?

Students will:

  • gain skills for healthy and safe decision making
  • develop a deeper understanding of community and the important role they play in it
