At Monday night’s board meeting, Assistant Commissioner Lauren Callaway was formally welcomed onto the Blue Light Victoria Board.
Lauren brings with her a wealth of experience, with 30 years as a Victoria Police member and over 10 years serving on the Victoria Police Legacy Board. In 2020 she took up the role as Assistant Commissioner of the Family Violence Command, where she is works toward reducing gender-based violence and ensuring protection for those most in need.
“I have joined the Blue Light Victoria Board because young people need support to navigate the challenges of life in a positive way, and equally emergency services need to connect with young people so that we can help each other to face community challenges together. Being involved in Blue Light Victoria brings both of those goals together and I’m excited to get started!”
