Caitlin Parker OLY is an Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist in boxing, and the first Australian female boxer to medal at two Olympic Games. She began her combat sports journey at just 11 years old, initially in Taekwondo before discovering her true passion for boxing. Caitlin has been competing at elite levels since the age of 15, winning multiple Australian championships and becoming the only Australian to medal at both Junior and Youth World Championships.
She has represented Australia on the world stage at the Youth Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, and World Championships, consistently achieving podium success. Caitlinโs career highlights include a silver medal at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, a bronze at Birmingham 2022, and a historic Olympic bronze at Paris 2024. Known for her determination and resilience, she has broken gender stereotypes and inspired young Australians by proving that talent and hard work know no boundaries. Caitlin brings her passion for sport and leadership to her role as a Blue Light Victoria ambassador, encouraging young people to aim high, overcome challenges, and pursue their goals with confidence and courage.
